॥ श्री सत्यनारायणाय नमः ॥
सत्यनारायण व्रत कथा — संक्षेप में, घर के लिए। यह मौलिक पुनर्प्रस्तुति है।
भगवान विष्णु सत्यनारायण रूप में सत्य और वचन–पालन के रक्षक हैं। व्रत कोई एक त्योहार नहीं — जब भी गृहस्थ कृतज्ञता या संकट–निवृत्ति चाहे, कथा सुन श्रद्धा जगाता है।
कथा–सूत्र १: एक निर्धन ब्राह्मण ने सत्यनारायण व्रत कर दैन्य पार किया। समृद्धि आने पर यदि अहंकार से कथा/प्रसाद उपेक्षित हो, तो संकट लौटता सिखाया गया — कृपा स्मरण चाहती है।
कथा–सूत्र २: एक व्यापारी/राजा ने संकट में व्रत का संकल्प लिया, कार्य सिद्ध होने पर विलंब किया तो विस्मृति ने नया दुख जन्म दिया। वचन पूरा होते ही शांति आई। शिक्षा: संकल्प को अधूरा न छोड़ो।
कथा–सूत्र ३: गर्वित पात्रों ने प्रसाद अवज्ञा से देखा तो मुखान्धकार/अपमान के रूपक आए; क्षमा और पुनः श्रद्धा से दृष्टि लौटी। सत्यनारायण दर्प नहीं, विनम्र सत्य चाहते हैं।
ये धाराएँ स्कंद/रेवा आदि परंपराओं में विस्तार से गायी जाती हैं। यहाँ भाव केंद्र है — हम किसी एक प्रकाशक की पंक्ति नहीं दोहराते।
व्रत विधि सार: गणेश–गौरी स्मरण, सत्यनारायण कलश/छवि, पंचामृत–फल–मिठाई का भोग, कथा श्रवण, आरती, फिर सबको प्रसाद। झूठ और क्रूर वचन उस दिन विशेष वर्जित भाव से।
फलश्रुति भाव: सत्य में स्थिरता, परिवार में विश्वास, और पूरा किया हुआ वचन — यही लक्ष्मी का द्वार।
