Information we collect
TirthaYatra is primarily a static informational website for home devotion and temple learning.
Optional My Board saves, checklists, practice marks, and personal copies of feedback notes may be stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are not uploaded automatically.
When you choose Send feedback, your note (and optional name/email) is stored privately in our editorial inbox (Firebase/Firestore) for review and corrections. Feedback is not published on the website automatically.
If Firebase is temporarily unavailable, the form may fall back to opening your email app so you can message us directly.
We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated page-view statistics (privacy-friendly, cookieless where supported by the platform).
Embedded Google Maps and YouTube players may set cookies or similar technologies according to Google’s policies.
The private admin inbox uses Google Authentication for allowlisted editors only.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
TirthaYatra uses Google AdSense to display third-party advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where allowed by your settings and applicable law.
You can manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings and learn more in Google’s advertising technologies policy.
We place ads according to Google’s publisher policies. Ads do not imply endorsement of rituals, deities, or temple trusts. We do not use My Board saves, practice streaks, or feedback notes to build advertising profiles of religious beliefs.
Visitor feedback is moderated before any public display. Unreviewed feedback is never shown as live comments or tips next to ads. My Board / practice data stays on-device unless a future sync feature is clearly disclosed.
Copyright and content
Short stories on TirthaYatra are original editorial retellings of traditional themes for learning — not verbatim scripture reprints.
Aarti, Chalisa, and vrat katha texts are traditional materials presented for personal study and home puja; classical authorship remains with their traditions. Wikimedia photos keep their stated licenses. Temple names and logos belong to their trusts.
Do not scrape or republish our pages as your own scripture edition. Contact us for correction requests.
