Meaning ·

In plain terms, Ekadashi Vrat Katha praises vishnu and asks for protection, clarity, and steadiness of mind. Recitation is traditionally paired with a clean shrine space, a lamp, and a calm evening pace rather than rushed scrolling. Ekadashi is dear to Vishnu. The popular telling describes Ekadashi Devi destroying the force of sin. Devotees fast, chant the Lord’s names, hear Hari-katha, and break the fast on Dwadashi after offering food to Vishnu — seeking purity of mind and divine grace.
