विजयदशमी कथा — मौलिक पुनर्प्रस्तुति।

दशहरा राम की विजय और दुर्गा की अष्ट–नवमी विजय दोनों धाराओं से जुड़ता है — अन्याय पर सत्य की जीत।

रावण दहन अहंकार दहन का संकेत है। घर में शस्त्र/औज़ार पूजा — श्रम का सम्मान।

दक्षिण–पूर्व में विद्यारंभ/शस्त्र पूजा; उत्तर में रामलीला। सार एक: विजय के बाद विनय।
