॥ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नमः ॥
वरलक्ष्मी व्रत कथा — तिर्थयात्रा मौलिक पुनर्प्रस्तुति।

आंध्र, कर्नाटक, तमिलनाडु, तेलंगाना में श्रवण शुक्रवार के आसपास वरलक्ष्मी व्रत प्रसिद्ध है।

कथा कहती है श्रद्धावान गृहिणी ने लक्ष्मी जी की आराधना से घर में शांति और अन्न–ऐश्वर्य पाया — दंभ से नहीं, सेवा से।

कलश–सूत्र, हल्दी–कुमकुम, और आठ लक्ष्मी भाव (धन, धान्य, साहस, संतान…) मन में जगाए जाते हैं।
