॥ श्री लक्ष्मी–गणेशाय नमः ॥
दीपावली कथा — मौलिक पुनर्प्रस्तुति।

अमावस्या की रात दीपों से घर–गली जगमगाती है। राम की अयोध्या वापसी और लक्ष्मी आगमन दोनों स्मृतियाँ मिलती हैं।

गणेश–लक्ष्मी साथ पूजे जाते हैं — विवेक के बिना धन बोझ बनता है।

जुआ और दिखावा लक्ष्मी को नहीं रिझाते; अन्नदान और ऋण–मुक्ति रिझाते हैं।

पटाखों से कम, दीपों से अधिक — श्वास और पक्षी भी प्रसाद के भागीदार हैं।
